Hi! I'm Henrique, or Henry, whichever you'd prefer.
I'm a student at Sheridan College's Bachelor's of Game Design program. I've been designing games since 2018, having started through creating Homebrew items, monsters, and subclasses for Dungeons and Dragons 5th Edition campaigns I ran with my friends. Quickly this evolved into conceptualized Action-Adventure games, 2D Stealth Platformers, and Trading Card Games. Something all my games have had in common are a deep world lore and strong emphasis on narrative, player agency, and interesting mechanics.
My personal mission when it comes to designing games is creating a strong connection between gameplay and narrative. I want the player's actions in game to feel tied to the story, be it giving them choices that enable them to play their TTRPG Character as they envisioned them in their head or having consequences to loss or death be parallels to what happens in the game's story.
